General usage method of ceramic roller rod
① The inner cavities at both ends of the roller rod should be filled with fire-resistant fiber cotton with a length of 30-50mm and a depth of 60-80mm, but not exceeding 100mm
② The protective coating on the surface of the roller can reduce the corrosive effect of chemicals on the roller and reduce the occurrence of roller breakage accidents. Therefore, the surface of the roller should be coated with a protective coating before entering the kiln. The sizing length is generally 100mm longer than the effective width inside the kiln, with a thickness between 0.8mm-1.2mm. For specific usage, please refer to the introduction of roller protection coating.
③ Before being loaded into the kiln, the rollers should be fully dried (about 1-2 days) beside or on top of the kiln before being loaded into the kiln for use.
④ Regularly and promptly clean the adhesive and attachments on the surface of the roller bar. Roller bars are brittle materials, and during cleaning, methods such as knocking, impact, shock, and other mechanical stresses that are prone to occur should be avoided.
⑤ It is generally better to cool down to 800 ℃ when replacing roller bars in a centralized manner. The roller bars should be installed or extracted from the kiln as quickly as possible, and the extracted roller bars should be cooled correctly to prevent local rapid cooling from causing wind crystals.
⑥ When pulling the rod at high temperatures, the roller should be quickly and rotated, placed on a dedicated rotating bracket lined with refractory cotton, and kept in a rotating state until the temperature drops below 600 degrees, or covered with insulation cotton to slowly cool it down. The extracted hot roller should not come into direct contact with the ground, and should avoid contact with cold metals or objects with large temperature differences from the roller.
⑦ After the replaced sticky roller rod is polished, its straightness, diameter, etc. must be carefully checked for reuse.
